My Story

I was born and raised on the Eastside of San Antonio, Texas, honorably served in the U.S. Air Force in Washington D.C., then spent 10 years in Los Angeles, California. While living in Hollywood I studied music and played in various bands. I attended many concerts, community plays, museums, and art galleries, meeting several celebrities along the way while playing the local club circuit. This deepened my commitment to community arts and inclusion. I also gained sales experience selling audio/video equipment with the Federated Group and opened my first business, PriDot Studio..

I returned to San Antonio and began my radio sales career. There were 20 stations in the city, and I moved from station to station learning different format demographics and honing my presentation and copy writing skills. I became proficient in strategic planning, forecasting, and understanding the unique needs of each city demographic. Along the way, event management and sponsor acquisition became my forte. I held positions with Cox Radio, Inner City Broadcasting, and then signed on with Westinghouse Media. The adult contemporary format was in the top 5 of the market and was quickly purchased by Clear Channel Radio (CCR). At that time, CCR owned 10 stations however after FCC radio deregulation they took the lead in acquisitions nationwide, ultimately acquiring over 1200 stations, creating an innovative advertising formula for ‘cluster radio properties’ that swept the nation.

My background in various formats, diverse event management experience, and top sales numbers led to a sales management position with CCR almost immediately. I was responsible for two FM station local sales production, leading 10 seasoned sales professionals and coordinating with managers from 5 other top ranked CCR stations. We maximized each format into a team that led the city in sales and high team visibility. As the acquisitions grew, sales managers across the country coordinated and networked to create strategies that dominated markets. I believe the development of those ‘cluster techniques’ equated to a Master class in Cross Promotional Sales & Marketing for media sales managers. I graduated!!

In 2001, I created Price Consulting, specializing in brand and product marketing, and special event management. Over the years my business has evolved into a consulting entity that develops unique marketing solutions and networking opportunities within specialized promotional projects. I bring unique cultural experiences, and solutions for diverse and unique marketing challenges. ALLPWR Consulting has proven solutions along with innovation growth strategies that equal success.
