Case Studies

Texas Southern University
Growing your audience.
Texas Southern University (TSU), a historically Black college/university (HBCU), was participating in the national Juneteenth celebration and wanted to expand it in Houston, Texas. TSU, a beacon among Black colleges across Texas, wanted to grow and expand the audience for their events.
Event Consulting Services
AllPWR Consulting created a marketing strategy that provided the most cost-effective way to reach the largest audience possible by developing a network of entities with similar needs. Each city had the same dilemma of expanding their market and growing the event. This strategy included research to develop an accurate list of events planned for the 2022 celebration. TSU and the other event sponsors cross-promoted and advertised and created shared audiences across Texas.
Results:
This strategy provided TSU an opportunity to consolidate the national Juneteenth celebration across the entire state of Texas, expanding into other markets and growing the audience across cultures. The statewide calendar of events strategy developed a broader sponsor base, grew mutually beneficial statewide partnerships, and created continuity across the state.
